Thanks Cleveland. The suspense is killing me on this stock, only 5 months left until carbon price kicks off, can't stay cheap forever.

Did the company say anything about the implications for ccf of the Abbott 'direct action' policy in the unlikely event that the carbon tax gets binned in favour of direct action?

I am curious to know whether the 'direct' bit refers to cutting out carbon traders and offset providers in favour of paying landowners and farmers directly (keeps the Nats happy, may win votes in country QLD if the deal is sweet enough etc.) ? It could just as likely be the case that direct action is even better for ccf with the heavy treeplanting emphasis. With no economist willing to go in to bat for direct action could it ever really be implemented?

I think the political risk is low and the potential is huge, hoping for contract announcements between now and June as some companies (apart from Origin) start to move.
