Well penn has done a good elite style woke job of nationalising tls ,first the nbn agreement which contrary to thodey's continuos statements it has not protected tls's net present value'and penn was cfo at the time.
Now imo penn has nationalised tls's mobile tower network, fine tls gets the tower lease payments but tls also gets massively increased mobile competition.
So tls's only 2 performing divisions fixed and mobile now nationalised with 1H eps 2022 (T22) by memory 5.9 cents, historically approx min .15 eps per half.
That leaves tls's $8b tls purple division.Tls purple relies on customer service
.It doesn't matter if its tls retail or tls enterprise they both rely on leading technology and customer service. As posted the Dept of defence rates tls as poor on delivering contracts ,I notice tls is not involved in JP9102 but optus is included in one consortium.Hmm as posted recently QAN changed their enterprise business from tls to optus, why ?
Health and energy again tls has no idea.
So this is my price target next 18 months, hmm no that would be described as insensitive and downramping.
ps The only competitive advantage tls still has is its market share and customer base, but rome wasn't destroyed in a day but i'm not sure anyone could have destroyed tls faster than management over the last approx 7 years.
OK lol a positive, tls's $1 billion nbn lease contract over 30 years CPI linked do i need to say anymore but its just obvious confirmation u would have to be a stupid govt to sign a $1 billion CPI linked 30 year technology lease. So start following the CPI.
But of course tls will sell half the lease thru infraco producing plenty of cash which the market will like but again how will tls managementallocate the proceeds,.
Thankyou u very much hope i haven't been to insenstive.
ps just in case Ash is reading this i read they are developing or have developed nuclear batteries that last 28000 years and use nuclear waste ,once battery is flat in 28000 years there is no radiation, it is safe and stable to handle, now thats a battery maybe something tls should invest in.
ps tls ventures doing great so combined with 30 year cpi linked lease thats 2 positives.
hmm should i post this hmm yes it took to long to type and sincerely hope i'm wrong..
