Fact: mortality of Covid 19 is significantly lower thatn most strains of Influenza A. More deaths from Influenza have pccured since Covid19 was discovered, yet people choose to panic over a slightly more hyped up cold over getting vaccinations for influenza.

Fact: Pandemics are NOT unprecedented in the modern age. Have you been living under a rock? Does H1N1, SARS, MERS all mean nothing to you? They are all pandemics from recent living memory. Also, SARS had a 10% mortality compared to Covid19. 1.5-2.5% depending on the health system.

All of this is perpetuated by significant media hype. No real basis in reality. I would even speculate as to whether a lot of the media hype is being issued by the people pulling the market strings.
