Not sure about the connection between Mitsubishi Motor Corporation and Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings Corporation. The largest shareholder in Mitsubishi Motors is Nissan, and the largest shareholder in Nissan is Renault.

Mitsubishi Chemical, Sumitomo Chemical and Hitachi Chemical are all very proficient at producing AAM. My guess is that the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi 'group' will likely seek supply of AAM through one or more of those aforementioned companies.
