I asked Aaryn this a few months ago, and he said that they'd take their time to find an appropriate CEO. As interim CEO I'd imagine he wouldn't be too much in a rush to find someone to replace him (I definitely wouldn't). I personally think its fine that they're taking their time to find a new CEO. Would definitely want them to spend more time finding the most suitable candidate now than have an inadequate CEO who doesn't grow the company and/or leaves a year or so later.
Aaryn's skin in the game is 10 million shares in performance rights, which would be worth $160k at todays current price. It'll be interesting to see how many years it takes Aaryn to meet those performance goals, and whether his contribution to those goals provides greater value to shareholders than the value of those rights + the base director salary. Hopefully the upcoming AGM presentation provides an update on the CEO search. It would be nice if he bought a sizeable sum of shares on the market to signal some confidence from the directors.
