The problem is with a stock like this, it is ALL about the surprise gains.
Here is the difference in performance between the actual share price and a synthetic share price if you missed all the +35% gains over the last 2 years or so.
If you are not there for the surprises, there is just no point to it.
Obviously even with a TA approach you may have captured some of those gains and and maybe avoided some of the losses.
But the point is, the returns here are not driven by trends, the returns are driven by shocks, which simply are not predictable.
