The squeeze works really well when a stock is in a strong trend up or down.
During the squeeze daily ranges should start to diminish. Generally price should trade close to the mean.
The creator of the squeeze John Carter recommends using a ma stack.
For a long trade price has to be above the 8,20,50,100,200. (the ma's have to line up in the right order).
The inverse case for a short trade price below 8,20,50,100,200.
A couple of nice SPT short trades (one from Nov).
You need to be patient & wait for price to break away from the range & start to see the momentum bars form.
Once you get comfortable with the strategy its a good method to look at selling spreads (US markets).
I agree SPT atm is really having difficulty breaking past the mean.
At least it is consolidating here. As I have said all along redemption will come when its sold to someone with deep pockets.
