Is that on public record some where that Google made a statement that they intend to rationalise 3 BNPL providers to 1? That would of course mean SPT Japan deal is now lost given Germany has expended to Klarna....
It's entirely possible that we have been used as a stalking horse for Google to achieve better pricing on another BNPL competitor for USA roll out - such as Klarna. Or we could have been used for the same purpose for Google to achieve improved pricing on Synchrony facility. Either way, we may still be in the game for USA but I don't see Germany Klarna as positive for our chances.
No idea where the revenue will come from for this company - no merchant announcements that will move the dial and the partnership execution continues to be embarrassing.
