merchants in general pick a lower purchase amount of say $400 AUD as they don’t want to pay 3% SplitIt commission on a $50 pair of shoes.

we had the same HC discussion in 2020 where posters put in a dummy JBhifi online order to not get displayed SplitIt instalments. The $400 was demonstrated with screen shots to be the reason why.
