So you have a credit card with a limit of $5,000, owe nothing and buy goods for $5,000. I understand that Splitit will lodge a $5,000 purchase on your card, rendering your limit fully spent. You will only pay interest as the instalments are deducted over the ensuing 4 months but your 'spending capacity' will only be returned incrementally as the repayments are made. Please correct me if I am wrong.
