1. There is no Resource at the moment and won't be until mid-next year according to the company.
2. There ARE a lot of very exciting Pd-Ni etc exploration numbers at the present. All of these numbers are OUTSIDE the state forest.
3. State Forests allow for mixed land use (ref: Alocoa mining bauxite in Jarrah SFs in SW WA).
4. Most likely (>90%) CHN will get SF access given persistence and patience. May cost them some access "conditions". Personally, I would be happy to see the authorities requiring them to build a smelter to process the 30 yr+ mine for example as a condition of development rather than sending the concentrate into the clutches of the CCP.
5. Even IF SF access does not happen, which I don't believe will be the case, I still see a project that supports a SP several multiples of where it is now based on the area OUTSIDE the SF and excluding the deep "X" conductor. Yet to be demonstrated as a JORC number of so you will have to be patient as per point 1 unless you want to do some independent number crunching.
