    Another big mover today in the sector was Amrad Corporation the stock has soared 18c to $0.65 on the news that US-based Merck & Co has agreed to fund and license discoveries from one of its research programs. The Melbourne-based biotechnology company said the deal had potential value of $167 million plus royalties.
