Was interested in the comment re PCL's dual listing. Annual reports, broker reports, ASX doesn't mention it.
Finally found it in the US OTC market where two securities are quoted PCOGF and PCOGY
A bit unclear in that PCOGY doesn't seem to trade and cannot find an associated market cap so perhaps no longer existing?
In terms of PCOGF, the associated market cap quoted varies from $42 million AUD (FT below) or 23 million US with Morningstar - not sure why the difference?
So PCL market cap on ASX is around 40 million. If you have to add 30 million (going half way between the two figures above) then this does substantially change the risk reward equation. I was thinking that perhaps the ASX market cap incorporates the US shares but don't think this can be as would either make up all or half of the the current mc depending on which figure you choose above.
Bhutos or others - comments welcome. It seems quite strange to me that this additional market cap isn't taken into account in broker reports or even mentioned in annual reports etc. If you search the Pancontinental site for PCOGF you don't find anything at all
