Jethro
State agreement acts have been used in WA for decades - they're basically an agreement between a company and the state government that sets out the terms of operation for major new projects in WA.
These terms could be anything, generally they relate to environmental issue, restrictions, etc etc.
Whatever project you start up in WA, it is subject to a State agreement act with the DOIR (Dept of Industry & Resources)
