So now that you reluctantly accept that your initial point was incredibly idiotic which is nice. As for trucking - 40km's isn't a large distance to transport ore and utilising a processing plant for ore isn't uncommon.
I imagine SA is far less expensive in terms of using the trucks and the labour which would be a fraction of Australian wages. It would all have been accounted for in the feasibility studies done by 3rd parties based on quotes received by contractors.
