Mr. Edward Sugar, Eddie is the Founder of EAS Advisors LLC and has been its Principal since February 2008. Mr. Sugar has more than 25 years of experience in commodities and related sectors. He served as Managing Director of Jefferies & Co. from February 1998 to February 2008. He was hired to develop the Jefferies & Co’s Australia trading desk, and prior to his departure in 2008 he served as the Managing Director responsible for international equity sales and trading. Prior to Jefferies and Co., Mr. Sugar served as a Managing Director for Marc Rich & Co. in Melbourne, Australia from 1998 to 1999, where he focused on identifying investment and purchase candidates in the resources sector, as well as commodity trading opportunities. In 1992, Mr. Sugar formed E.A.S. Consulting in Melbourne, Australia, which provided consulting advisory services to the Chairman of Coles Myer, Ltd. From 1988 to 1992, Mr. Sugar served as Vice President on the Asian equities sales and trading desk at Barclays de Zoete Wedd in New York City. Prior to that, Mr. Sugar was employed by Potts West Trumball & Co. in Sydney, Australia as an analyst covering Australian resource companies. Mr. Sugar served as a Director of White Tiger Gold Ltd. from December 17, 2010 to April 25, 2013.
