    An unwritten rule.
    China - exports no gold
    Russia- exported very little before the recent sanction on its gold mines. Supposedly exports none now.
    Those 2 countries are the biggest producers in the world now.
    The no.3 world producer is our beautiful Australia.
    Imagine if our mines started stockpiling gold.
    Price would skyrocket.

    They have to obey orders from above.
