Pumping of money into the system because the debt-burdened, low growth system is failing.
Look at the spike in repo rates in the States. The Fed didn't let the market sort it out, they were straight in there with massive influxes of 'liquidity'. Interest rates cannot be allowed to pop, its wack-a-mole and they continue to get hammered lower.
This is now fast becoming a sort of study in mass insanity: MMT, negative interest rates, central bank depredations in markets, $1 Trillion annual deficits, Keynesian economics on steroids.
The only answer to expanding debt is more debt. More debt, ever more debt.
And you get someone like Skol saying 'nothing to see folks, all perfectly normal, the Fed has PhD's so there will be no consequences'.
