The anti-Gold mindset seems to be dominated by this type of thinking.
We should all be ‘optimists’, we should listen unquestioningly to what our governments and the central banks tell us, we should all take on huge amounts of debt because everyone else is doing it, we shouldn’t be concerned about the aftermath of the current debt fuelled binge because that is ‘paranoid’ or a ‘load of bollocks’.
If you say that things are looking likely to turn out very badly you are accused of wanting war, famine, and death. No one wants adverse outcomes, but we cannot be blind to the consequences of unchecked credit creation.
I will not bury my head in the sand just because the herd is doing so.
