MF did you end up buying shares in the wonder cream?
I honestly don't think a comparision with Resmed is realistic at all. Everyone knows when it comes to biotechs, that drug companies are more valued than equipment/hardware companies.
But eqipment companies can be broken down further. The most successful companies like say GE, Philips, Resmed, Abbott, Baxter, etc. They make more money selling consumeables and accessories, even servicing.
Resmed and GE sell many respiratory related devices like ventilators. They then sell filters that need changing EVERY patient. They also sell ecg cables and spo2 finger probes that need regular replacement.
Abbott and Baxter make infusion pumps. They sell and even giveaway the equipment. Then make money selling syringes and IV lines. Abbott even do glucometers and sell the strips.
We can't replicate that structure. Best we can do is a one-off purchase of the adaptor, then monthly billing for use of cloud and interpretation.
