Looks to be tight financially until mid 2012 (bank completion test) but maybe DS can steer this ship through on current funding. Unknowns for us (and maybe them?) are extent of overrun - will production start as soon as this week? and , final washout of contractor claim?? If extra is needed, I'm a bit with you PP , rr issue doesnt sound like a bad idea if bank or other finance is not available - and, as you say, loyal retail investors possibly a sound target.( Despite company's preference for insto' backers -lately some of those dont seem to have been meeting the mantra of being more stable in uncertain times!) On a positive note, drove past the project today, sat in my van at the nearest vantage point on Back Callington Rd and marvelled for a good twenty minutes at this wonderful sight - the project site is much bigger than I had imagined and looks sensational (to a trady that doesnt know mines!) way more impressive than the photos + plenty of activity and a full car park. Had hoped to do some "front bar research " at Callington Hotel, but at 4.00pm the b..y things not open!!! so headed back to Adelaide thirsty and none the wiser.
DS MAY have just been a little too open on the last ann' but jeez they were stiff, with a claim out of the blue and, I believe, a possible contractor incident a couple of weeks back the cause of the delay -all at the 11th hour!
Yaq's point also very good re decisive measure being required to avoid further erosion of confidence through uncertainty.
If they can just couple a positive ann' on the finance with a resounding commissioning update this company's fortunes will quickly turn - you get the feeling there are many waitng on just that to jump on board - or back in.
