But I do sympathize on your position as I have come most of this journey with you.
I think though that the sins of the past regime should not be inherited by the present management who are doing a pretty solid job.
Sell Birds Head and Sumba...yeah, good thought, but there is a sweet spot in the sales process where we will maximize our return. We need further proving up to get to the sweet spot. That requires time and money...both of which are shackled to horrendous weather and a work and govt culture that operates at snail pace.
My understanding is that we have had overtures to JV BH from Every major and we already have a healthy premium built in here.
As to a CR...I'd suggest an offer to shareholders only on a say, 1 for 4 basis at 18c. On this basis we aren't getting diluted (presuming you take up your offer) and I reckon the market will quickly recover from this point. Afterall, the money we chip in will largely go to pay for the extra tonnage on the ROM pad just waiting to be turned into cash!
As to the ambit contractor claim, negotiate extra hard and only offer payment in shares at 25c or higher
