There's the old line about problems and opportunities and differing views on the same circumstances.
I first bought 3 years ago on the very day of the all time high. I could have held and done no more and been angry. I chose to take the opportunity over those years to load up and average down. Currently I'm feeling very happy. Without that time passing I'd have a much smaller holding.
Time will tell which strategy worked on this occasion.
