If, you're right, nathanblack, it would seem that there's up to 90pc non-compliance with s173 of the Corporations Act 2001.
This would be concerning.
If a company Secretary excuses the company from complying with the Act because he/she/it is too busy, then go to ASIC - as I've done.
My experience is that company Secretaries typically understand their responsibilities and do this:
. Record the owner's email address;
. Email/phone the Registrar with an instruction.
Simple as that. Job done. Another owner happy.
Time taken. Five mins max.
The only company that hasn't complied with my frequent/legal requests for Top 50s is PNO.
And, BTW, if PNO applied common sense it would ensure that the Top 50 list was sent promptly - with a Thank You and a promo for Thermalife gel!
