following is a stitch up of some feedback from a company source about companies mentioned in earlier posts about Noble's allegedly baneful involvement in them

....the question of overpaid executives is timely, given shareholders concerns in the market at the moment in particular on where funds are applied – mining or exploration or administration or paying executives.

The WA Business News' recent 10th Annual Survey on executive salaries in WA’s resource sector is interesting . apparantly at least one KAB exec didn’t make it given the low salary in question

Today’s market place that has become increasingly harder , assigning very little value to fundamentals . There are some companies generating cashflow but trading at less than 1x earnings, and at a significant discount to cash backing ; as well as exploration companies trading at multiples on “nearology” and “potential”.

Noble’s involvement in Gloucester Coal was a
success with Chinese Yancoal acquiring it in a
    A$8billion deal which shareholders
approved and received a related capital return.

AKM is a Mongolian coal explorer suffering the impact
of falls in thermal coal prices and/or increased levels of
    concern over Mongolian political risk.

DRG another Mongolian coal company, no involvement by Noble with them and yet there share price has tracked that
of AKM almost identically over the past 12 months.

TTY please was a basket case anyway .So to attribute its fate to Noble is stretching it .

Noble has made their first investment into Sub-Sahara
Africa and advanced funding into Kaboko.

Over the past year KAB has in terms of share price outperformed SEG and SRR , two other manganese exploration companies without noble involvement ....

hope that gives some perspective ! !
