It’s a popular stance you take, but it is simply not true that the small share holders stopped the Chinese or that the small shareholders stopped Crown, I will not labor the point as I have posts which comment on these issues, suffice to say the FIRB all on it’s own knocked back the Chinese and they would do exactly the same today without any involvement of others. The Crown affair was knocked on the head after Bob and Mark made some initial noise which ended up in the majors tapping NC in the shoulder, that was it, end of story and I will say no more on it.
My comments were directed at the present day and what I see as ill advised attacks on the Malaysian system and some silly involvement with various movements within Malaysia.
