folks as I've told all my US counterparts....it is NOT the President that can change our country but rather the Congress....the Pres can indeed be a catalyst but remember despite the will of the President our system is such that if the "children" in Congress can put aside thier petty differences and political gesturing they can ALWAYS override ANY presidential veto....so it is your Congressman you should be moreso concerned with. The Pres is esentially a "figurehead" like many other world leaders.
I liken it to a sports team...although the President is the Head Coach he needs the right players to get the job done....make sure he has the right players!!
