While I dont dismiss the Marinus Link from Tas (hugely expensive) if it is routed via an offshore windfarm it could be an interesting combination. Diversity of supply is a defensive strategy. On the otherhand a Nuclear Power Plant becomes a target. In YOUR backyard.
