the nuclear industry is not finished

People should remember that this is the one of the strongest earthquakes in history, followed by a massive Tsunami. this is not your average natural disaster, this is one in a century event. never mind how safety measures were in place. death and destruction for one reason or another are inevitable in these circumstances.

we have a crisis at a nuclear plant, but we don't know the extent of this yet at this point in time. mind you no death has been record as a result of these explosions.

The high radiation levels is limited to the area close to the reactors so far, they are evacuating people in 20 km radius around the plans as a precaution.

If Hiroshima and Nagasaki, 3 miles islands, and Chernobyl did not end the nuclear industry, this one certainly won't, as bad as it looks now, it actually pales in comparison to any of them.

Too early to say things about the end of the nuclear industry, they will in my view make some reviews and improve safety measures, which are good for the industry in the end.

Let us just wait and see.
