when nuclear energy as a means of replacing coal-fired generation, is mucked around by both side, using it merely as a means of division on one side and a means of procrastination by the idiot Govt. is plain ignorance of the real need to install adequate electr4icty generation for the needs of the nation: both for business and domestic consumption.
plain as day we need to replace the old system of generation, and it needs to be done before the coal plants close.
given that a nuclear plant can take up to 20 years to construct, in nations where all the legal requirements are already in force, we MUST get cracking.
the Lab Govt should be preparing the necessary legislation for nuclear pathways for development here in Aus..... post haste.
