You are probably right , FAC.
You say "I suggest all IGR shareholders ask the Co to invite them to a site tour on the week following commissioning."
Likely it will take the first MONTH ,rather than the first week , to sort out the initial and inevitable teething problems .
And then some more time to ramp up into full production.
But to take a balanced view ,if as you say , IGR might have hired the (SARACEN) Mill Manager at exactly the correct time .
Looking at the SAR announcements
08/01/2010 11:03AM 2 Mining and Wet Commissioning Commenced
29/01/2010 4:54PM 2 First Gold Pour at the Carosue Dam Operations
09/04/2010 10:04AM 2 Commencement of Full Scale Production
10/05/2010 8:30AM 2 Gold production off to good start
17/06/2010 9:32AM 2 First Two Months Gold Production .
If Igr can get into Full Production by Xmas 2010 , and can achieve the Projected Project payback time of 15 months , then that will be a good outcome IMO .
The SAR Mill Manager must have been pleased and happy to take the IGR appointment , so lets hope its a win/win for both parties --and he compliments the wide experience and technical abilities of Graeme Beisell, Rowan Johnstone and Chris Cairns.
