Yeah I have heard that too, ie. if you get onto it later, if there is already a fair bit of damage and inflammation is higher...then yep, you may need a few courses over time.
I would try and get boosters. They should be much more open to your request as you have already had iPPS.
There are a few papers involving animal models that have remarkable changes in morphology of tissues and bone if iPPS is administered earlier. Cartilage traditionally has been much harder to grow/repair but even here we are seeing increases for the first time as documented by PAR in their 008 study.
Though I'm motivated by the SP one day going up (!!) I also long for the day PAR set up a longitudinal study powered for DM at a scale. That read out will be also incredible.
