What is everyone expecting?? He just gave his inauguration speech. He is't going to solve the problem in 5 minutes in one speech. He will solve the problem when he gets into the office, talks with his advisors and will then make the decisions.
All thos hot head brokers should calm down and see the mess they have helped create. They should have an ice cold shower, apologise to everyone for the mess they created AND solve the ruddy problem.
There is no reason why trading on the ASX should follow today Wall street, nor should the markets react hastily for sake of reacting. Think things through, then take the leap.
