I’m impressed that you understand that you may need meds, it’s very important to understand yourself.

I’ll offer up some techniques I have used to reduce excitement levels without resorting to meds.
Anyone else can use these too or discount them if it doesn’t seem their style.

Write down your options of what you will do if Far hit Texas Tea/Dust
Write another 3 plus options that may be possible between those 2 extremes
Just keep and eye out for Jackson
Smash your pinky finger in the front door just before the market opens each day
Don’t read any of my posts
Never, never ever get your significant other as excited as yourself!!! if you end up on meds you don’t want them trying to Bogart your supply of medication
