The guys who run this company have a few runs on the board so I guess it's a matter of trusting their judgement but that sort of behaviour is a bit of a worry IMO. Maybe he's just a mad passionate football supporter. I guess if there's no football there'll be plenty of hands onboard to run the mine. Still as others have pointed out, there's plenty of other companies doing business there.
