The OLD guard: Allan Buckler and Paul Crawford

Voting for the AGM is now open.

And two of the BOD members are now up for re-election: Allan Buckler and Paul Crawford.

Before you decide your vote, please consider the following:

What exactly do Allan Buckler and Paul Crawford bring to the company at this point?

Allan Buckler is seventy-eight years old.He is an old man scared of new ideas, scared of bold visions, scared of innovation. He does not want to go downstream and has shot down every attempt to move downstream.

This is the same man who showed up at the last AGM only because he was standing for re-election, and many of you saw him fall asleep during the AGM. This is not a man with energy, vision, or enthusiasm, this is an old man who can't even stay awake at the one meeting he attended.

Is this who you really want to be making important decision for Sayona?

And Paul Crawford?

Many of you will remember him as the bungling company secretary who managed to make an error in every communication sent out by the company and whose last parting shot as company secretary was to leave the old Paddington address on the votes tally form.

Why is Paul Crawford standing for another election when he was time and again supposed to retire? The man is 67 years old. He has millions in the bank, and received a big FAT bonus of 10 million options at the EGM because he was supposed to retire!

What exactly does he offer to the board now that Dylan Roberts has taken over all his duties?

Think about this:

There is a lack of diversity and technical/chemical knowledge on the board, except for a whopping total of ONE person. It is also devoid of diversity. Amongst the three stooges: James Brown, Paul Crawford, and Allan Buckler, you basically could just write one biography: “Forty years experience, former coal miner.” Where is the technical knowledge? Chemical knowledge? ESG knowledge? Diversity? Diversity is an absolute requirement in these days and age.

There is a complete and distinct lack of counterweights, dissent, and different backgrounds/expertise that makes for a healthy board.
