I don't understand why they made the fatties diet and exercise...

I don't understand why they made the fatties diet and exercise while taking the pill. I know it would be hard to track whether everyone was maintaining their normal lifestyle patterns during the testing period, but I would presume that all of these obese individuals were hooking in to fatty food and grog, and lazing around watching the tele for years before this test.

To suddenly put them on a diet and an exercise program is obviously going to kick start their metabolism...but isn't that what the drug was supposed to do??? So doesn't it then seem obvious that even the placebo group shows similar results to all other groups??? Was the drug supposed to enhance metabolism, even if a person coincided the drug with exercise, or improve metabolism without changing one's lifestyle. It seems like 2 completely different scenarios to me.

Maybe they need to burn anther 10 mil or so to find out...or they could send me a month's supply and I'll gladly do it for 1 or 2 mil....might make up for some of my losses.
