The OmNet Loan

I've been researching and reading a lot about LWP over the past week or so. Now I know the LWP tech is good, that's been established etc. however, I just cannot get over the fact that many here have let the Omnet loan just fly under the radar. Management have come out and said they have learnt from their mistake and wont make loans again. this is all well and good but it still does not address the fact that the loan was made in the first place.
Some questions that need answering are:-
- How did OmNet and LWP come to meet?
- is there a corporate link between Omnet and LWP? If so, then this raises further concerns.

I cant get past the fact that it is somehow unlikely IMO that OmNet just randomly picked up the phone and called LWP and asked for a loan. The most obvious and logical conclusion is that someone in LWP management and someone in OmNet management know each other and this was a favour. IMO. No other scenario makes sense.
This question needs an answer before I will comsider investing in LWP.
