It still does not actually store electricity
It is in effect a chemical generator no different than a N/C in effect and only of use in a stationary situation
As such I fail to see a future for it, it joins all the other maybe type of new age systems, all promoted as "renewable s" which have very little value IMHO
There are a multitude of methods to produce electricity all of which mat have benefit in extreme conditions but none of them can come close to conventional means of generation
