People are starting to wake up to the cost of renewables. Germany now has the most expensive power in the world. Wind turbines are an absolute eye sore, driving along the country roads and past small towns they're overshadowed by thousands of wind turbines, some turning and others not. I've been driving through Belgium, Germany, Czech Republic and Poland over the past few weeks. I cannot understand why anybody would wish for the landscapes of Germany and Belgium with the thousands of wind turbines on the outskirts of their villages. What happens when the population grows it will be necessary to build your new home under these wind turbines or move even further away from the village. Luckily for Poland they have already come to the conclusion to ban all future building of wind turbines and all those existing ones will be demolished by 2035.
