I think you might be missing the point. The article is a sales pitch for Marcus Padley. The message is clear to me. "Invest in the stocks I tell you to because I'll make you millions of dollars with very low turnover. Look at my fabulous track record of stock picking for proof."
In any case, Steve is using borrowed money so I think he is wise look at the situation in 12 months and evaluate his situation with BRN and the interest rate he is paying. Not advice.
