OK, you are right, I agree....... We should all lie down and die as total failures. The world is set in stone and nothing, absolutely nothing we do will ever change a damned thing in it.
But wait. Seriously, if a million people for example signed petitions against anything, you can bet that action would be taken pdq. It would set off a political avalanche. Votes make careers flourish or die so very quickly. The first party that supported such a petition would probably win the next election. One thing I have learned in this life is never say never my friend, never say never.
