Last week the Frankland River Olive company (FLR) announced that their largest shareholder, Toscana, is set to buy out or compulsory acquire all the remaining shares in the company.
So effectively it looks like AAP will be left as the only remaining listed olive grower in Australia.
Anyone with a passing interest in horticulture would be aware of the significant potential of the local olive oil industry. Hopefully the company management have the imagination to take advantage of this situation.
