    Nobody can predict the future. If the future looks like the past 5 years then WAX would be better pick. But the future is just as likely to be different and WAA may perform better. WAA is a market player so if things get choppy and investors get scared (or manic bulls) then Wilson and co. may make a lot of money trading. WAA NTA performance is not a lot worse than WAX and could easily turn around. Diversify or buy both (or WAM) is an option to flatten uncertainty here.

    WAA does seem to attract a lot more attention than WAX judging by its historical premium to NTA. That may be because of liquidity or the substantial shareholder notices but I am only interested in the monthly NTA and dividend announcements. Whether WAA gets back to the old premium is anyone's guess.

    I do know with certainty though that if I buy at 20% discount and sell at say 5% discount I am much further in front while staying exposed to the market. It just takes patience.

    And congrats on your project. I hope it all get up and running.
