Hmmm, interesting read there Barney. I'm not sure I'd call it light. It appears the solid state batteries lack electrochemical stabilities and have issues with dendrite growth in the sulfide electrolytes.
We all know what dendrite growth leads too...
However, the ASSLB's that have a sulfide based composite cathode appear to address some of the stability issues and provide a more consistent power source.
Interesting to note that the ASSLB that had a modified electrode with graphene had better ionic/electronic conductivity and much better cycling performance.
It would be good to read any recent papers from the authors given the current rate of progression in the industry.
