Mitsui/BPT will be drilling exploration wells near Waitsia towards second half of this year 2022. If successful, most likely outcome would be higher than planned Waitsia LNG exports.
Otway Gas Plant rated capacity is 205 TJ per day. Can be expanded to 250 TJ per day with some additional cost. Government should help fund the expansion. These are extraordinary times. Plenty of gas available in Otway and the world needs gas.
Hope BPT finds lots of oil in the Western Flank with those 15 exploration wells about to be drilled starting end of February!
