Jet fuel domestic demand in China has fallen due to Covid restrictions. Delta variant is almost impossible to eradicate. Parts of Asia are in all sorts of lockdown.
Jet fuel demand pre-pandemic were around 8 million barrels. With European jet fuel demand moving higher. Absolutely right on need for high vaccinations, those 60-70% fully vaccinated countries are opening up air travel!
Good news is, overall, worldwide surfaced based fuel demand has almost recovered to pre-pandemic level.
Fortunately, Covid vaccine productions are ramping up to vaccinate the high populated countries which still have less than 20% of its population fully vaccinated.
