We have this article from the local paper "The West Australian" but there has been nothing said about it by EGO.
https://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/wa/a/32018053/minres-to-back-dbp-ego-bid/#page1
Where did the authors of the article get this information?
What happened?
Did the consortium take their offer off the table?
If so why?
Was it too low and was rejected by Origin
Is the bidding process still underway with TSV winning the bid?
Why did EGO enter the consortium to bid with nothing in EGO's kitty to bid with and why is the article headlined "MinRes to back DBP, EGO bid?
What was MIN's intention here? To take over EGO and fund the bid themselves with DBP?
If the bidding process has ended with what looks like TSV winning (it is in a TH), is it not time for EGO to announce to the market their bid failed.
There are so many question about this article but EGO's board is totally mute? Why?
Surely it is time to tell the market something about the bid.
