YOU SIN. Period. And therefore are guilty under the law that you love so much. Even your 'trying' is sin. Only Christ can please the father or provide an acceptable sacrifice, that is why all of your 'trying' and legalism is simply BS. It is Christ IN you, the (only) hope of glory, but hey, if you think you can add to your own salvation by 'trying' then keep going for it, hopefully you'll figure it out eventually.
