Seems very logical BH! I reckon the Fed thinks of "gaming the system" as part of their charter and more than a few in the investment community (think Nadler and Rogers) who are aware of the games like to think of their activities in terms of the national interest rather than a "conspiracy". Of course gaming the system isn't going to work forever and he who owns the gold has always won through the ages. I guess "ages" is the defining word - need a lot of patience with this gold bull but as you note BH! not only here on HC but with the SDR and other currency ideas being floated there does seem to be an increasing public awareness that there is only one way out of this crisis and that is to link currencies to something tangible (which we all know/hope? will be gold!)
